The school aims to cultivate an English-filled environment that is conducive to learning English for everyday communication, academic purposes and appreciation of the language. The English Panel, English Society, Language Across Curriculum Committee, English Debate Team and other related committees and extra-curricular teams regularly organise various English activities that match our students’ abilities. Through holding fun activities on topics that interest our students and complements our curriculum, and through implementing various co-curricular learning programmes, we hope our students find interest in learning English as a language so as to cultivate self-directed learning. We also aim to stretch students’ potential by giving them opportunities to join various competitions inside and outside school. Besides, students also learn to appreciate the arts of English language, and develop a sense of awareness to different cultures all over the world through being exposed to various language art forms and genres.
